JSSI Strengthens Presence and Expands Offerings in South America and Mexico

Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI), an independent provider of maintenance support and financial services to the business-aviation industry, celebrates regional growth in Latin America, adding key appointments to the team and expanding product offerings in the market. The organization its committed to strengthening its presence in South and Central America to support growing demand and market evolution.

The LATAM business-aviation market has grown rapidly over the last few years; since 2019, the fleet in Brazil has grown over 30%, making Brazil and Mexico the second and third largest business-aviation markets in the world, following the United States. In addition, more large-cabin business jets have entered the market, today accounting for roughly 14% of the total Brazilian fleet. As a result, JSSI is seeing growing hourly cost maintenance (HCM) program adoption in the market. Operators that traditionally chose not to enroll in maintenance programs are now seeing the value and benefits of having a maintenance partner.

Following JSSI’s evolution and expansion into new products and services over the last decade, the LATAM team has grown significantly to support its clients in the region. In 2021, David Caporali assumed the role of vice president of business development for Latin America. Since, the team has expanded to include regional representatives for parts and leasing, maintenance tracking software, and technical services — specializing in both airframe and engine maintenance — as JSSI continues to diversify the support and offerings available to clients in the region.

New key additions to the team over the last year include:

  • Rosela Jimenez as business development manager (HCM), Mexico and Central America
  • Aroldo Rovero as regional sales director for JSSI Parts & Leasing, LATAM
  • João Caram as director of business development (HCM), LATAM
  • Giuliano Donadio as director of regional sales (Traxxall), LATAM, supported by seasoned continuous-airworthiness technician Natanael Nascimento, who joined JSSI in 2023.

Jimenez joined JSSI with over a decade of experience in business aviation, most recently focused on aircraft sales in Mexico. Rovero joined the JSSI team in 2009 as a technical advisor, and his long career in the industry, maintenance expertise, and relationships in the region translate perfectly to spearheading JSSI’s Parts & Leasing program development in this market. Appointed to HCM sales in 2022, Caram brought nearly 10 years of aviation experience to his position, and Donadio joined in 2021, previously focused on aircraft sales in Brazil.

“JSSI clients are the forefront of what we do, and we’ve managed to attract top talent in Latin America that understand this market and how to deliver the very best service,” says Caporali. “We continue to evolve to best meet the demands of our clients, and it is a joy serving this growing market alongside this expert team.”

JSSI is celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2024. Through continuous innovation and M&A activity, the organization has evolved from its original focus on engine programs into a comprehensive support ecosystem throughout the aircraft ownership lifecycle: from pre-acquisition guidance and financing solutions to maintenance programs and tracking software to parts, engine leasing, and end-of-life solutions.

Today, JSSI supports over 30% of the global business-jet fleet through maintenance programs, parts procurement, and tracking software. Traxxall recently crossed the 4,000 aircraft mark, supporting over 17,000 users globally — many of which enjoy the benefits of having one provider for both the financial maintenance program and tracking solution. At NBAA last year, the company launched the first online parts store of its kind — PartsHub — opening free access to JSSI’s complete inventory, parts data, and pricing transparency to hundreds of users globally.
