Kelly Otte Joins Duncan Aviation’s Airframe Service Sales Team

Duncan Aviation announces that Kelly Otte has been selected to join the Airframe Service sales team at the company’s full-service MRO facility in Lincoln, NE. In his new position, Otte will assist Falcon airframe operators in planning for large airframe maintenance events, providing detailed technical quotes, answering service and capability questions, and scheduling maintenance visits.

“As a 25-year veteran of the company, Kelly brings a wealth of experience, dedication and enthusiasm to this position,” says Troy Nail, Duncan Aviation Airframe and Engine Sales manager. “We’re excited to see the impact he’ll make in this new role.”

Otte’s career at Duncan Aviation began in the Paint department in 2000, where he quickly advanced to a crew leader position. He later served as a crew leader in the Flight Control department before moving into Service Sales as a sales associate, where he gained valuable insight into the behind-the-scenes complexities of project scheduling, including hangar space allocation, labor availability, and coordinating multi-shop jobs. This progression has given him a deep understanding of the company's operations, from hands-on work to the logistical challenges of scheduling and project management, and will make his transition to sales seamless, he says.

As a Falcon Service sales representative, Otte's personal goal is to continue the great work already being done by the Falcon team. He is excited to interact with customers, ensuring they are in good hands at Duncan Aviation.

A native of Wahoo, NE, Otte and his wife, Britt, have three children: Katie, a nurse; Parker, a college baseball player; and Brody, a high school athlete. Outside of work, Otte is a devoted sports dad who enjoys traveling with his wife when they aren’t busy cheering on their children.
