Are you an aircraft records data technician with a good work ethic? In this role you will provide support for the maintenance department. The Records Technician must be proficient in data entry and accurate aircraft record keeping. You must possess excellent technical skills and attention to detail. This position is for our FAA repair station and is a job for someone who likes to create and keep accurate logs and records and work in a friendly team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use EBiS database system for tracking maintenance
  • Coordinate between the mechanics and required records
  • Coordinate between the maintenance and accounting departments
  • Organize, audit, correct and file aircraft maintenance logs and records
  • Update flight time and cycle counts in the maintenance tracking program
  • Identify, track and upload information to work orders.
  • Research and resolve unmatched aircraft data
  • Distribute and retain documents as required by Company and FAA policy
  • Complete other assignments and projects as directed by the Director of Maintenance
  • Prep and scan various types of Bills of Work into the Company system
  • Audit aircraft log sheets, routine cards, non-routine cards for correct times, signatures, removed and installed parts
  • File aircraft records to include but not limited to log sheets, routine check packages, maintenance provider teardown reports, invoices
  • Complete and close work orders
  • Enter helicopter component data into Excel and or company system
Requirements: 

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of two yearsrsquo; experience with Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, compliance for Airbus, Bell, MD, and Robinson Helicopters.
  • Experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station or working in a Service Center.
  • Requires integrity and a professional attitude, with ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently while adapting to fluctuating workloads
  • Ability to maintain and high standards for accuracy in record keeping
  • Must be highly proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat (PC based systems)
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is always required
  • A High School Diploma is required; college experience preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable of general office procedures
  • A P Maintenance experience is preferred

Qualifications:

  • MUST CURRENTLY BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE US
  • MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA
  • Requires excellent record keeping skills
  • Skills with excel
  • Basic understanding of aviation industry and helicopter operations
  • Minimum educational requirement of associates degree or vocational degree
  • Prefer candidate who has and A P License
  • Computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel programs
  • Experience with an inventory database (ERP) system, such as EBiS
