Maintenance - Machinist
Position Summary SUMMARY OF POSITION:Must be able to troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul equipment in several maintenance systems (i.e.) machining, electrical, plumbing, or welding. Must maintain a full general tool assortment as well as a basic assortment of precision measuring tools. General qualifications include but are not limited to the following: to ensure all safety and work rules are followed. Must be responsible for maintenance of equipment records, and administration of preventative maintenance programs. Must be able to read blueprints and plans for construction at plant level. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education required/ preferred:High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining or completion of an apprenticeship is preferred.Experience:At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is typically required.Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Skills/Competencies:1. Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office package2. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds3. Ability to use all general mechanical hand tools and light power tools4. Knowledge of light machine shop toolsOther Skills:

- Report directly to the Plant Manufacturing Engineering Manager
- Work closely with Maintenance to resolve issues with the equipment
