Are you ready to go beyond?What You Will Do Work from drawings, sketches or general instructions to fabricate supports and install less complex process equipment involving somewhat difficult decisions. Assist in the planning of work considering various alternatives; take measurements; and make hangers, brackets, supports and other hardware required to facilitate erecting structures and process equipment. Operate required tooling to accomplish assigned tasks in order to facilitate work completion. Transport material and process equipment with fork lift. Assist in rigging and placement of variously weighted items into position using chains, cables, hoist, fork lift or other similar lifting devices. Answer trouble calls and make repairs on infrastructure and process equipment where equipment does not present unusual problems and some evaluation of conditions are involved to determine the source of the problem. Discuss problems; make necessary repairs or replacements while working with the lead, higher labor grade or alone. Run checks on equipment and other suspected conditions to isolate the source of trouble. Overhaul less complicated equipment where service manuals and other technical information are available. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on less complex infrastructure and process equipment. Make periodic checks on the operation and general condition of equipment and notify supervisor or working lead of any evidence of poor performance or need for repair. Lubricate mechanical equipment according to the maintenance schedule or as directed. Perform other maintenance and construction duties as assigned to support department objectives. Refer unusual or recurring work difficulties to supervisor or working lead.Our top priority is safety. You must understand and adhere to all safety requirements and procedures, including Federal and State regulatory requirements.  Complete preventative maintenance tasks promptly and make recommendations for improvements.Perform component installation, system maintenance, and repair work as assigned, as well as carry out preventive maintenance and service as required.Perform the fabrication, installation, overhaul and maintenance of a variety of less complicated facility mechanical, structural and process equipment. Rig and place machinery and equipment into position.This is an amazing opportunity ion 1st shift. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.What You Will Learn

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Experience in facility maintenance, Ability to diagnose mechanical equipment, and adequately repair to prevent reoccurrences.       
  • Must be able to troubleshoot complex systems supporting production equipment.
  • Must have basic understanding of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting concepts is essential.  
  • Perform component installation, system maintenance, and repair work as assigned, as well as carry out preventive maintenance and service as required. 

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks promptly and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Experience in Machine tool repair or automotive type work is preferred
  • Technical Certifications  Preferred
