Job Description Field Service Technician MK 41, Vertical Launching System

Requirements: 

Required Education, Experience, Skills

  • Two years \"On-the-Job\" training with basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Relevant course work or training
  • Relevant work experience in the defense industry

Preferred Education, Experience, Skills

  • Working knowledge of administrative practices and procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, email and calendar software.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work effectively with other personnel, inside and outside of the organization.
  • Navy Ratings: All Weapons Ratings and all Aviation Structural and Mechanical Ratings.
  • Frequently required to move about, reach with arms and legs and lift 100lbs.
  • Work is conducted in light industrial repair facility and shipboard environment.
  • May work extended hours and weekends.

May require travel in and outside the United States.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $51086 - $81738Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
