  • Set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection and document results in accordance with procedures.
  • Familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and as directed, be capable of providing the necessary guidance to trainees and Level 1 personnel.
  • Familiar with the PW codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the methods including the scope and limitations of each technique/method.
  • Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standard.
  • Develop and manage procedures and inspection technique (sheets) for NDT Level 3 approval.
  • Support the continuous improvement programs and CORE (Customer Oriented Results Excellence) activities.
  • Comfortable to learn new advanced technology.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Diploma in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
  • PCN or NAS410 or EN4179 Level 2 in FPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection) with at least 400 hours FPI experience.
  • Knowledge of product manufacturing and inspection technology.
  • Familiar with inspection gauges, tools and equipment.
  • Ability to understand technical instruction, drawing and standard operation procedures (SOP).
  • Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands-on approach.
  • “Carry out physical tasks to lift and carry parts/fixtures with the aid of equipment tools.”
  • Pass vision exam (Jaeger 1 test chart at not less than 12 inches) and a color blindness test.
  • Willing to work on night shifts and overtime on need basis.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Attended external trainings with NDT in FPI certification is preferred.
  • Possess certification of a current NAS410 / EN4179 / PCN / ASNT or SNT-TC-1A.
  • 2 years NDT experience with aircraft structures, engines and/or components.
  • Possess working knowledge of SAP.
