Global Jet Capital Mourns Loss of Industry Veteran and Friend, Robert "Bob" Fox, Jr.

Global Jet Capital joins the business aviation community in grieving the loss of colleague and friend, Robert "Bob" Fox, Jr.

Bob worked as aircraft maintenance manager at Global Jet Capital for the past three years and had deep roots in the aviation industry that go back to 1978 when he began working at Piedmont Aviation.

“Bob will be deeply missed, and not just for his dedication, leadership, and keen problem-solving abilities, but for his sincere kindness, willingness to help, and love for his family and friends,” says Shawn Vick, CEO at Global Jet Capital. “Our paths crossed more than 15 years ago, and I have many fond memories of Bob. All of us at Global Jet Capital admired Bob’s passion for this aviation industry and send sincere condolences to his family.”

As an aviation maintenance technology graduate with an airframe and powerplant license from Spartan School of Aeronautics, Bob began his career with Piedmont Aviation. Later Piedmont became Piedmont Hawthorne Aviation, where he logged 25 years, working his way to director of Aircraft Services. Subsequently, the company became Landmark Aviation, and Bob was the director of maintenance with Landmark for the following eight years. In 2015, Bob started Fox Aviation Resources, LLC, where he consulted and specialized in project management before joining Global Jet Capital in 2017.

Born in Manassas, VA, to Robert Lloyd Fox, Sr., and Gertrude Breen Fox, Bob was a devoted husband to his lovely wife, Kricket, a dedicated father to two daughters, Hope and Stephanie, and a passionate grandfather to three grandchildren, Savannah, Gabriel and Mason.

Memorials may be made to the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, NC 28144.
