Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings Earns Spot in Boeing Premier Bidder Program

Sherwin-Williams announces the company and its aerospace coatings business have earned a spot in the Boeing Premier Bidder Program. The program recognizes and rewards consistently high-performing Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) suppliers and gives them an opportunity to increase their business with Boeing.
Sherwin-Williams makes exterior coatings that deliver custom solutions for commercial aircraft, including a full range of specialized livery color options for an outstanding, durable finish. Its products and systems undergo stringent testing to demonstrate they will deliver a lasting protective coating for any aircraft in a commercial fleet and has earned numerous AMS 3095 certification approvals. Its interior cabin coatings systems are designed to provide a smooth, textured or soft-feel finish. These are compatible on a variety of plastic, metal and composite surfaces within the aircraft cabin interior and cockpit and meet the stringent aircraft flammability requirements, FAR/JAR 25.853 regulations for burn, smoke and heat release.
