We’re Going to a Trade Show!

Trade shows are an important part of our business. The D.O.M. magazine team typically attends numerous trade shows each year including HAI Heli-Expo, MRO Americas, NBAA MC, EAA AirVenture, NBAA BACE and others.

That just didn’t happen this year.

The only trade show we attended was HAI Heli-Expo in Anaheim, CA in late February. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend that show because I caught a bad case of food poisoning the night before I was supposed to fly out.

Our publisher Greg Napert and I were able to attend the Wisconsin IA renewal seminar in early March. But that was it. Everything was shut down after that.

Well, I’m happy to say I will be attending my first trade show December 2 -3! The D.O.M. magazine staff will be attending NBAA.

We won’t be traveling to Orlando, FL spending our time walking around the Orange County Convention Center by day and enjoying the warm weather, hospitality and networking events in the evenings. That’s where NBAA BACE was scheduled to take place.

Instead, we’ll be sitting in our offices here in Wisconsin as we “attend” NBAA GO Virtual Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (VBACE).

This event is FREE for NBAA members! Non-members can attend by paying a registration fee or receiving an invitation from a VBACE exhibitor.

There’s an interesting lineup of events and seminars scheduled for VBACE. You can click HERE to take a peek at the schedule. You can view NBAA’s YouTube video explaining how VBACE will work by clicking HERE.

I haven’t attended a virtual event before, and I'm looking forward VBACE.

I must admit that I am looking forward to our next opportunity to attend an in-person trade show in 2021. I’m sure there will be some significant changes — depending on what happens with COVID-19 between now and then.

In the meantime, “see” you at VBACE!

Thanks for reading,

Joe
