Here at General Aviation Jet Services we are looking for a seasoned and professional lead mechanic to not only run a smooth maintenance program but to also be the face of maintenance here. Someone who can instill the trust in our customers we value so much. At G.A.S. FBO we pride ourselves on providing all customers with a relaxed family type atmosphere to put our customers at ease during their travels. Our top tier customer service sends our clients out the door with a huge smile and a desire to come back. We are a full service FBO just north of Houston at a rapidly growing airport.
Our FBO sees everything from small Piper and Cessna piston aircraft to large Gulfstream jets, we are in the perfect location for somebody looking to not only grow our business but to grow themselves.
You will be the key player in our FBO maintenance shop, meaning you will be punctual and dependable while providing exceptional work to our customers.
Work will range from oil changes, annuals, 100 hr inspections, to higher end work on jets. Our goal is to be a one stop shop for everybody's flying needs.

Requirements: 
  • Hold all certificates and licenses necessary for being an A P/IA.
  • Have at least 5 years experience working as an IA.
  • Have some shop leadership experience.
  • Have your own tool box with basic tools necessary for job.
  • Willingness to cooperate with a team.
  • Work at least 40 hrs per week, more if needed.
  • Have dependable transportation.
  • Have a good attitude.
