Nimbl VP to Receive NBAA Business Aviation Top 40 Under 40 Award at NBAA BACE in Las Vegas

Nimbl congratulates its VP of Strategic Partnerships, Clément Meersseman, who has been selected as a recipient of the National Business Aviation Association’s prestigious Top 40 Under 40 award. The NBAA Top 40 Under 40 spotlights trailblazing young business-aviation professionals who demonstrate impressive leadership skills, innovative thinking, and the willingness to challenge the norm and break through industry barriers. This is the sixth consecutive year the awards have been presented to emerging leaders who are helping shape the future of business aviation.

Meersseman is at a relatively early stage of his 15-year career to date. He serves actively on NBAA’s International Operations Committee, and over the last six years, in addition to heading up the Strategic Partnerships team at Nimbl, he has served as a senior operations advisor, specializing in international aviation procedures and safety for the business-aviation sector.

“As one of my most valued team members, Clément’s experience with international procedures has significantly enhanced Nimbl’s effectiveness in providing the best products and services here and abroad,” says Mark Baier, CEO Nimbl.

Meersseman got his start internationally in Geneva at a top European private-jet management company, Global Jet, before coming stateside to handle international flight operations at Collins Aerospace ARINC Direct. He studied business in France and Canada prior to becoming an FAA-certified aircraft dispatcher.

Since joining Nimbl, Meersseman has played a crucial role in implementing and maintaining the LOA streamline process and securing multiple partnerships that enable the company’s platform and services to integrate with industry leaders such as ForeFlight, Osprey Flight Solutions, Signum Aviation, and Dassault Falcon Jet. These collaborations not only help operators prepare for their flights more effectively but also enhance safety for all involved.

Meersseman attributes much of his success to the international exposure early in his career that allowed him to build an extensive network of industry contacts. “I couldn’t do what I do for Nimbl without the support, expertise and professionalism of our Nimbl team who work tirelessly around the clock to make even the most challenging processes easier,” he says.

He will receive his award at the 40 Under 40 Awards Luncheon during NBAA BACE on Wed., Oct. 23, 12-1:00 p.m.
