Job TitleTechnician, Simulator MaintenanceReports ToSenior Engineer, Simulator OperationsRole PurposeCarry out repair and maintenance of Flight Simulator Training Devices and their components for MAB Academy in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.Key Accountability

  • Carry out the scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance in order to achieve optimum simulator serviceability.
  • Perform repair and overhaul of simulator parts to ensure spares are available at all times.
  • Perform daily readiness check on all simulator to ensure the equipment are operational for flight crew training.
  • Regularly monitor building facilities and report to property department for any abnormalities to ensure environment requirement are met.
  • Provide support and perform immediate defect rectification as required by simulator instructor during their training session to ensure the training can be completed on time.
  • Involvement in adhoc projects as and when required.
  • Qualifications Working Experience

  • A Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Electro Mechanical.
  • Preferably 1 - 2 years experience in Maintenance Operations of Flight Simulator Training Devices.
  • Areas of Experience

  • Basic knowledge in Analog and Digital circuit theory and computer hardware/software literate.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagram.
  • Experiences in using electronics test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, signal generator, logic analyzer, etc).
  • Personality TraitsGood attitude to perform individually as well as part of a team.
