SCOPE (SUMMARY)
The AH-64E Armament/Electrical/Avionics Systems Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness and effectiveness of the Apache helicopter, including but not limited to performing inspections at various maintenance levels (Unit, Intermediate, and Depot) for the AH-64E Apache. Also, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneudraulic systems associated with the armament and missile fire control systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
- Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of aircraft electrical, avionics, armament systems and equipment in accordance with applicable technical publications, applicable regulations, and company and local policies and procedures.
- Assists in ensuring aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.
- Documentation of maintenance using forms and records in accordance with TAMMS-A (The Army Maintenance Management System - Aviation), DA PAM 738-751, applicable technical publications, regulations, and company / local SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Adhere to all safety protocols during maintenance activities to prevent accidents, and Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Impart the knowledge of duties and responsibilities in such a manner (advice, support, and On the Job Training to customer trainees) to permit assimilation into the workforce; the final aim being to enable the customer's technicians to attain gradual full capacity to carry out self-sufficient aircraft armament / electrical repair capability.
- Carry out all assigned tasks from the immediate Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations.
- Minimum High-School, Diploma from a Recognized Civil/ Military organization is a plus.
- US Military 15Y MOS, preferably in addition to FAA A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) License / Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license is preferred.
- Must be able to attain a UAE Driving License.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 8 Years of overall Avionics, Armament, Electrical, Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) maintenance experience, including at least 5 years' experience working on AH-64E aircraft.
- Comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in utilizing standard tools, specialized equipment, test instruments, and aviation ground support equipment relevant to aircraft maintenance operations.
- Familiarity with military maintenance protocols and documentation is preferred.
