Position Summary
AOG Resources is seeking experienced APG Mechanics (Licensed OR Unlicensed) to support heavy maintenance operations on commercial aircraft. In this role, you will perform a wide range of tasks including servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, preserving, and overhauling aircraft systems and components. All work must be completed in compliance with FAA regulations, OEM specifications, and company maintenance procedures.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on commercial aircraft systems and components.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and execute necessary repairs or modifications as directed.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and maintenance documents.
  • Complete all required documentation for maintenance activities and assume accountability through proper sign-off procedures.
  • Utilize tools, gauges, and instruments efficiently and safely to complete assigned duties.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines, maintenance protocols, and environmental regulations.
  • Work independently or under the supervision of licensed A P mechanics, contributing to aircraft readiness and safety.

Requirements: 

5-10 years of experience displaying working knowledge of, but not limited, to the following:

  • Complex component replacement,
  • Engine removal/ replacement (wing/tail),
  • Engine run up procedures,
  • Engine trim procedures, throttle rigging,
  • Landing gear change, main and nose,
  • Nose wheel steering rigging,
  • Flight control surface balancing procedure,
  • Trim tab wight balance,
  • Flight Control rigging,
  • Flight Control and General safety lockout procedures,
  • Stabilizer rigging,
  • Spoiler rigging,
  • Flap rigging,
  • Slat rigging,
  • Slat/flap control cable change,
  • Horizontal stabilizer jackscrew replacement,
  • APU removal/installation,
  • APU operation,
  • A/C towing supervisor/tug operator,
  • Work lift platform operator,
  • A/C pressurization procedures,
  • Cargo/Entry door rigging,
  • Troubleshooting hydraulic systems, air condition systems, pneumatic systems,
  • Knowledge of aircraft manuals, ATA codes, SRMs, Service Bulletins, E.O.s and related materials,
  • Knowledge of applicable F.A.R. 's and company policies and procedures,
  • Knowledge of paperwork procedures including job cards, time cards routine/ non-routine cards and work sign-off/sell-off procedures,

  • Accomplish other reasonable duties and tasks requested by supervisor.
