Job Title: Avionics ElectricianJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic team as an Avionics Electrician specializing in heavy-lift helicopters, specifically the Sikorsky S-64. You will be responsible for disassembling, repairing, fabricating parts, reassembling, installing, and documenting maintenance actions in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment.Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, repair, fabricate parts, and reassemble heavy-lift helicopters.
  • Install and document maintenance actions on Sikorsky S-64 helicopters.
  • Fabricate wire harnesses in-shop and perform on-wing installations and troubleshooting.
  • Inspect, clean, test, and remove wiring as necessary.
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals and wiring diagrams.
  • Select appropriate wiring and components for installations.
  • Build on harness tables and ergonomic pivoted boards.
  • Install wire harnesses on aircraft in hangar and test/terminate connections.
  • Remove, replace, and repair panels as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in aircraft electrical wiring and avionics repair.
  • Proficiency in electrical, avionics, aircraft installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Ability to work with wire harnesses and aviation components.

Additional Skills Qualifications

  • Good quality flush cut wire cutters required.
  • Cannon plug pliers and safety wire pliers suggested.
  • Willingness to work 2nd shift if required.

The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6 am to 4 pm and Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with a possibility of moving to a 3 pm to 2 am shift (4 x 10s) after 3 months. Be part of a newly forming 2nd shift team with a lead already in place.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $42.00 - $52.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
