Job Title: Structures MechanicJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Structures Mechanic to perform heavy maintenance on ATR turboprop aircraft operated by an air cargo carrier. The role involves reading task cards and blueprints, identifying necessary tools, performing repairs or installations, and submitting work for inspection. This position requires proficiency in drilling, reaming, and riveting to close tolerances using standard and blind/pop rivets such as HI-Loks, as well as basic fabrication, installation, and quality checks. Responsibilities also include corrosion control and fabricating and installing stringers and doublers.Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance on ATR turboprop aircraft.
• Read task cards and blueprints to identify necessary tools and steps.
• Conduct repairs and installations as required.
• Submit completed work for inspection.
• Perform drilling, reaming, and riveting to close tolerances.
• Use standard, blind/pop rivets like HI-Loks.
• Conduct basic fabrication, installation, and quality checks.
• Control corrosion and fabricate/install stringers and doublers.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of aircraft structural repair or fabrication experience.
• Ability to drill, ream, countersink, and rivet sheet metal from blueprints.
• Experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO).
• Must pass a basic structures fabrication test.

Additional Skills Qualifications

• Must have a complete set of tools including a drill motor, countersink cage/microstop, rivet gun, rivet sets, 1/4" ratchet and sockets, grinder, machinists scale/rule, and clecos.

The position requires working 5-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with the second shift running from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM.
