Position Summary
We are seeking an Engine Repair and Overhaul Technician, with specialized experience in Rolls-Royce M250 and RR300 engines. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing engine overhauls, repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and general maintenance in accordance with TC regulations and company quality standards. This is a hands-on role that demands technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform complete disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of M250 Series II, III, IV, and RR300 engines and modules.
  • Troubleshoot engine malfunctions and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
  • Clean engine components using approved processes and equipment.
  • Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools and interpret results.
  • Record and document work performed in accordance with TC and company requirements.
  • Ensure that all parts meet airworthiness and serviceability standards.
  • Use OEM manuals, service bulletins, and engineering drawings to guide maintenance procedures.
  • Participate in engine testing and performance validation as needed.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Assist in mentoring and training junior technicians.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report parts usage.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Safety Responsibilities

  • Follow all company, OHS, and TC safety regulations and procedures.
  • Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report unsafe conditions, hazards, or injuries to management immediately.
  • Participate in ongoing safety training and promote a culture of workplace safety.
  • Handle hazardous materials according to established guidelines.
  • Stay current with emergency procedures and fire prevention practices.

Requirements: 
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Rolls-Royce M250 Series II, IV, and RR300 engines.
  • Advanced technical knowledge in turbine engine disassembly, inspection, troubleshooting, and reassembly.
  • Strong understanding of TC regulatory compliance and documentation.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience in a certified MRO facility is highly desirable.
  • Canadian citizenship required.
