Composite and Structural Repair Mechanic M/F
Interpret job cards/technical drawings; perform OEM-compliant repairs on LEAP engine components (fan blades, fan cases, nacelles, thrust reversers).Utilize advanced materials (CFRP, GFRP, Kevlar) and repair techniques (lay-up, patching, curing).Assess damage (delam, cracks, erosion); perform sanding, abrading, chemical prep.Apply composite/metallic repairs per CMM/OEM specs using room-temp or oven/autoclave cure.Perform riveting (solid, Hi-Lok, blind), fastener replacement, and sealant application.Conduct precision rework to meet dimensional and fitment tolerances.Accurately record repairs in job cards and QA logs.Guide to junior technicians in procedures and safety. Support OJT and verify junior task execution when delegated.Recommend repair/process optimizations.Contribute to RCA/CAPA for quality deviations and workflow efficiency.
Diploma / ITI in Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. In-depth expertise in: Riveting, bonding, composite patching, trimming, drilling, and sanding, Composite/metallic repair of fan blades, nacelles, thrust reversers, cowls, etc.Hands-on experience in: Use of special process tools and calibrated fixtures, Reading and interpreting SRM, CMM, ESM, OEM repair manualsFamiliarity with: FAA, EASA, DGCA regulatory frameworks, Documentation and traceability norms (job cards, work orders, etc.)Preferred: OEM LEAP Engine Repair Certification
