Quality Inspector
Quality Control Inspector Marana, AZ 6-month contract-to-hire**If interested, please apply or call Danielle at 3 1 6 4 4 8 4 4 8 9**This role involves ensuring that all aspects of aircraft maintenance meet high standards. You will be part of a team that specializes in aircraft inspection, focusing on heavy maintenance checks and component repair and overhaul. Your work will be critical in maintaining the safety and airworthiness of aircraft, adhering to FAA regulations and company policies.Responsibilities
- Research technical data and inspect hangared aircraft during heavy maintenance checks.
- Enforce Quality Control standards for material receiving, shipping, and storage.
- Inspect aircraft components during assembly, installation, and adjustment phases.
- Ensure all Work-In-Progress is documented correctly and corrective actions are referenced appropriately.
- Record inspection data and report any irregularities to the Lead Inspector.
- Perform maintenance and repair of company equipment and general shop housekeeping.
- Test airframe connections for tightness and inspect parts using hand tools.
- Examine assembly, installation, and adjustment of ailerons and rudders.
- Determine accuracy of component installation in power plant and hydraulic system.
- Sign inspection tags to approve units or record reasons for rejection.
- Log inspections performed on aircraft.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in aircraft inspection.
- Valid Drivers license.
- Basic set of tools.
- A&P License highly preferred.
