Constant Aviation Works with Honeywell to Deliver Custom Cabin Management Solution Specific to Gulfstream & Global Platforms

Constant Aviation, offering full-service maintenance, repair, and overhaul with a nationwide network, announces that it will offer Honeywell’s Ovation Select Cabin Management System (CMS) upgrade on the Gulfstream IV / V / 450 / 550 and Global 5000 / 6000 / Express aircraft. Constant Aviation is offering special NBAA pricing to customers throughout the upcoming show who visit Booth #2290.

The Ovation Select CMS provides state-of-the-art connectivity via smartphones, tablets or installed passenger control units located throughout the cabin. The system integrates high-definition LCD monitors, Blu-ray players, satellite television, external camera systems or any other carry-on portable electronic device that can be interfaced into the system through an auxiliary input panel. Ovation Select utilizes the latest Ethernet network backbone and puts the entertainment system, lighting, temperature and galley controls at the passengers’ fingertips with touchscreen panels. The technology has built-in system monitoring and maintenance functions, which aids in troubleshooting, as well as improving, reliability.

Jay Rizzo, vice president of Sales at Constant Aviation, says, “Constant is proud to offer this state-of-the-art system to Gulfstream and Global operators. For anyone who commits to this upgrade during NBAA, special pricing will be provided. In addition to the price savings, we are providing Honeywell Avionics Protection Plan, (HAPP) coverage for one year, free of charge, with the purchase of a 3-year contract. We are looking at options to provide this CMS upgrade on additional large-cabin airframes in the near future.”

Rizzo continues, “There are approximately 1600 Gulfstream IV / V / 450 / 550 models in service at this time. 67% of that number have been in operation for the 10+ year mark. The Global platform sits at approximately 27% of the fleet at the 10+ year age. These stats make them excellent candidates for not only for CMS upgrades, but avionics and interior upgrades as well.”
