The FAA will be holding a Safety Stand Down December 3-4. On these dates, the FAA will host a series of online safety seminars targeted at aircraft maintenance technicians and other repair station personnel. Up to four hours of AMT & IA credit is available each day on maintenance subjects. The following subjects will be covered:

Flite Line Maintenance welcomes Andrej Janik to its team as maintenance manager. With an increased demand for specific aircraft types, Flite Line Maintenance has been quick to add the Citation 500 series, Challenger 604 and Embraer 100, and 300s aircraft to the current roster of planes maintained at its facilities. West Star Aviation announces it is performing its first 96-month Embraer Legacy 600 heavy inspection. The 96-month inspection will require the interior to be removed down to fuselage skins and frames, as well as all large exterior fairings, landing gear, flight controls, wing leading edges, and flaps to be removed. The inspection requires West Star to conduct various system functional tests and NDT inspections, as well as interior, corrosion and fuel tank inspections.
