True Blue Power, a manufacturer of lithium-ion aircraft batteries, and 101 Aviation, a Texas-based company specializing in supplemental type certificate (STC) development, announce the True Blue Power Gen5 TB50 (50 amp-hour) and TB20 (20 amp-hour) lithium-ion batteries will be available for Gulfstream and Bombardier aircraft beginning Q1 2026.

West Star and Collins Aerospace Deliver First ProLine Fusion® Installation Upgrade in Charlie Precourt’s CJ1+

West Star Aviation announces its partnership with Collins Aerospace in completing a CJ 1+ STC for a Pro Line Fusion® upgrade including all of the Fusion optional items. The partnership now enables Collins Fusion as an upgrade option for CJ 1+, 2+ and 3 aircraft. The Fusion upgrade and first certification on this Citation model was completed on an aircraft owned by Astronaut Hall of Fame member, Charlie Precourt.

Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics announces it has been named an authorized repair station for Axnes PNG wireless intercom products in the United States. Mid-Continent expects to provide service and support capabilities for Axnes customers by October 2021, including warranty and non-warranty repair and exchange services, technical support, installation and configuration assistance, product training, troubleshooting, diagnostics and AOG services for the complete Axnes PNG product line.

Following the successful launch of its Tooling Apprenticeship program in 2020, Textron Aviation is growing its collaborative “earn and learn” employment opportunities with a new Numeric Controls (NC) Technician Apprenticeship opportunity. Applications are now open for entry-level technicians interested in getting paid to expand their skills and experience to join the Textron Aviation team of highly skilled people who manufacture the iconic Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft.

StandardAero is selected by a number of Exchange Income Corporation’s (EIC) air operators to provide support services for the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW100, PT6A and JT15D engines. Under the multi-year agreement, StandardAero will provide responsive engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services to the following EIC’s air operators: Air Borealis, Calm Air International, Canlink Aviation (dba MFC Training), Keewatin Air, Perimeter Aviation, PAL Aerospace, PAL Airlines and Wasaya Airways.

StandardAero signs its 40th Collins Aerospace Pro Line 4 to Pro Line 21 modification/upgrade on Falcon 50EX, Falcon 2000 and Falcon 2000EX aircraft. The 40th aircraft is a Falcon 50EX model and is scheduled to be completed at StandardAero’s Springfield, IL, maintenance facility.
