Duncan Aviation Customers Riding the JetWave

Duncan Aviation is busy installing a number of Honeywell Aerospace JetWave hardware systems, allowing customers who fly globally to connect to Inmarsat’s GX (Global Xpress) Ka-band, high-speed broadband service, Jet ConneX. Owner/operators who fly large-cabin aircraft and need worldwide Internet connectivity have faster options with Honeywell’s JetWave and Imarsat’s Ka-band broadband satellite network.

West Star Aviation announces it has appointed Pete McKernan as Senior Vice President of Parts and Component Repair. Pete will be responsible for overseeing West Star Aviation landing gear and accessory departments along with its affiliates, Avant and DAS. 

Pete has over 35 years of aviation experience working at Cessna/Textron holding various roles including Business Leader for ProAdvantage programs, Director of Aftermarket Finance and Vice President, Parts and Programs. During his time at Cessna/Textron he was responsible for leading organizations in sales, distribution, warranty administration, pricing and supplier management. 

"We are pleased to have added Pete to our company. His experience and expertise will be a driving force in increasing sales and overall growth of our parts and component repair business," says Robert Rasberry, CEO, West Star Aviation. 

Concorde Battery Corporation announces EASA Validation for RG-390E/30 to be installed on the Cessna 510 Mustang. EASA STC 10065246 and FAA Approval (STC SA02653LA) replaces the original equipment battery with a 30-ampere hour drop in replacement that is five pounds lighter.

CALSTART, in partnership with the cities of Reedley and Mendota, launches the Sustainable Aviation Project: the nation’s first production all-electric aircraft project designed to develop pilot-training opportunities using zero-emission electric airplanes. Funding for the project was provided by the Fresno County Measure C through the Fresno County Rural Transportation Authority.
