The company welcomed state and local dignitaries, airport officials, construction partners, OEM (original equipment manufacturer) representatives, customers, and team members to showcase the state-of-the-art facility, which represents a major long-term infrastructure investment designed to meet growing global demand.

C&L Aviation Group Primed for Additional Expansion

C&L announces a new $3 million expansion to its facility in Bangor. The project, supported in part by a $1.2 million grant from the United States Economic Development Administration that was recently awarded to the City of Bangor, will refurbish a newly leased hangar, add two new buildings, increase capabilities and create 100 additional jobs over the next two years.

With examples from his most recent book, The Wright Brothers, Pulitzer prize-winning author David McCullough plans to focus on “Lessons in Leadership” in a keynote address during the opening general session of the 2016 National Business Aviation Association’s Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) on Tuesday, Nov. 1. Held in Orlando, FL, the event runs through Nov. 3.

Cessna Introduces Turbo Stationair HD

Cessna Aircraft Company, a subsidiary of Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, debuts the Cessna Turbo Stationair HD, the company’s enhanced version of its Cessna Turbo Stationair T206H single-engine piston aircraft, at Experimental Aircraft Association's (EAA) AirVenture. The Cessna Turbo Stationair HD is now available to customers and features a gross weight increase of 189 pounds, giving the aircraft a maximum useful load of 1,470 pounds in its standard configuration with six seats, or an impressive 1,623 pounds in a rugged utility configuration.

West Star Aviation announces that Mexico's Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil has renewed East Alton's (ALN) certificate through 2018. The certificate allows West Star to offer full service to Mexican registered aircraft (XA, XB and XC).
