Eve Air Mobility ("Eve") (NYSE: EVEX; EVEXW) selects BETA Technologies ("BETA") (NYSE: BETA) to supply electric pusher motors for its conforming prototypes and production aircraft. The agreement represents a potential 10-year opportunity for BETA of up to $1 billion and reinforces Eve’s commitment to proven technologies and dedication to exceeding mission requirements.

On these dates, the FAA will host a series of online safety seminars targeted at aircraft maintenance technicians and other repair station personnel. West Star Aviation announces the company recently completed its first Falcon 7X C-inspection at its East Alton, IL, facility. In addition to the Falcon 7X C-inspection, which is the most comprehensive inspection for potential major maintenance for the Falcon 7X aircraft, West Star also performed a complete paint and interior transformation in addition to a Honeywell Ovation cabin avionics upgrade.

StandardAero signs an exclusive five-year, time-and-material contract with Air Tanzania to provide maintenance and engineering services for the Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) PW150A engines powering the flag carrier’s fleet of three Q400 regional turboprops. The new contract extends StandardAero’s relationship with Air Tanzania, the company having previously provided engine support for the airline’s Q300 aircraft.

A little after 9 a.m. CT, July 21, 2018, the Commemorative Air Force’s World War II aircraft, C-47 Bluebonnet Belle N47HL, had an accident at takeoff and caught fire. The accident occurred at Burnet Municipal Airport in Burnet, TX, where it is assigned to the Highland Lakes Squadron.
