NATA Statement on FAA Administrator Michael P. Huerta
The following is a statement by National Air Transportation Association (NATA) president, Martin H. Hiller, marking the conclusion of Michael P. Huerta’s term as Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). In November 2017, NATA recognized Huerta’s outstanding service and contributions to the aviation industry, presenting him with NATA’s Distinguished Public Service Award. The Trump Administration has announced that Deputy Administrator Daniel Elwell will serve as Acting Administrator.
