On these dates, the FAA will host a series of online safety seminars targeted at aircraft maintenance technicians and other repair station personnel. Up to four hours of AMT & IA credit is available each day on maintenance subjects. The following subjects will be covered:

Constant Aviation Looking to Hire Technicians

Constant Aviation, offering full-service maintenance, repair, and overhaul with a nationwide network, announces it will be holding a career fair on March 21, 2017, from 10:00am – 3:00pm, to fill various positions. Hosted at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Wichita Airport, representatives from Constant Aviation will be available for on-site meetings to interview aviation professionals interested in pursuing a career with Constant Aviation.

Concorde Battery Corporation announces it has received a 2016 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers that have achieved superior performance. Concorde Battery Corporation maintained a Gold composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 2015 to Sept. 2016.

Constant Aviation, offering full-service maintenance, repair, and overhaul with a nationwide network, announces the addition of Hector Soto as the South Central regional sales manager. With more than 30 years of experience, Soto is well-established in the aviation industry. In his new role, Soto will manage sales and support of Constant Aviation’s services and capabilities in the South Central region of the United States, covering Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and New Mexico.

Jet Support Services, Inc. StandardAero signs a new, exclusive, two-year partnership agreement with Johannesburg, South Africa-based, Solenta Aviation Workshop Ltd., to provide a guaranteed LRU, MRO and exchange program to support Solenta’s PT6A/PW100 engine operations.

JETTECH, developing affordable, aftermarket aircraft solutions, announces it has received approval for an FAA supplemental type certificate (STC) for installing the touchscreen Garmin GTN 650/750 GPS/NAV/COM on Cessna Citation 550B and 560 series aircraft equipped with the Primus 1000 Integrated Flight Control System (IFCS).

West Star Aviation announces continued expansion efforts at its Chattanooga, TN, location (CHA), extending hours of operation and growing its paint and interior team. Effective as of Jan. 27, 2017, West Star's Chattanooga facility offers weekend shift hours, giving its customers 12-hour coverage from a dedicated crew Friday-Sunday, 7 a.m.-7:30 p.m. The team consists of five maintenance technicians to start.
