On these dates, the FAA will host a series of online safety seminars targeted at aircraft maintenance technicians and other repair station personnel. Up to four hours of AMT & IA credit is available each day on maintenance subjects. The following subjects will be covered:

Congress Set for Quick Action on FAA Extension

The Aeronautical Repair Station Association (ARSA) announces that House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee Chairman Bill Shuster (R-Pa.) has introduced legislation to keep the FAA operating for another six months.  Under current law, the FAA’s budget authority expires on Sept. 30.  House and Senate committees passed multi-year FAA reauthorization bills this summer but the legislation has not received floor consideration in either chamber.

Flying Colours, the North American MRO, refurbishment and completions specialist, announces it has delivered an enhanced carbon-copy of the innovative red, white and black carbon fiber cabin, that was originally designed for a Bombardier Challenger 850 in 2013. The same customer’s pre-owned Bombardier Global Express, left the Canadian company’s Peterborough facility this week, having received an equivalent makeover.
