Life Industries Offers Sanitizer

Life Industries Corporation, manufacturer AeroLIFE high-quality care and maintenance products, responded to a request from the South Carolina Department of Commerce to help fight the spread of COVID-19 and flatten the pandemic curve. It is expanding the production and availability of Sanitizer, a disinfectant solution.

Air Facts Announces Winner of Richard L. Collins Writing Prize for Young Pilots

Chandler Webb, a 19-year-old commercial pilot from Oregon, is the winner of the second annual Richard L. Collins Writing Prize for Young Pilots. His article, “Pilot in Command,” was selected as the entry that best answered this year’s writing prompt: “an event that changed or shaped the author’s flying.” Chandler’s article recounts a long cross-country flight with his mother and father that didn’t go as planned — and the valuable lessons he learned.

Duncan Aviation implements an aircraft disinfection service that it is providing for operators who have scheduled into the company’s main MRO facilities in Battle Creek, MI; Lincoln, NE; and Provo, UT. All aircraft are disinfected upon arrival and before Duncan Aviation’s technicians begin work on them. They are disinfected again right before delivery back to the operator and departure from the Duncan Aviation location.

With the United States facing unprecedented challenges from the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has joined forces with four other aviation groups to inform lawmakers the nation’s general aviation (GA) industry, including business aviation, is prepared to assist as needed to respond to the crisis.
