Gogo (NASDAQ: GOGO) announces that the Gogo Galileo HDX terminal has received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) supplemental type certification (STC) approvals for the Dassault Falcon 2000 aircraft family. Dassault Falcon Jet in Little Rock, AR, worked closely with Gogo to obtain the STC modification, which is now available for installation from Dassault Falcon Jet and its Authorized Service Center (ASC) network.

Cessna SkyCourier Twin Utility Turboprop Earns FAA type Certification

Textron Aviation announces the Federal Aviation Administration has granted type certification for the new twin-engine, large-utility turboprop Cessna SkyCourier. Using a clean-sheet design and advanced manufacturing processes, the high-wing aircraft’s production line is underway, and the first unit will soon enter the market with launch customer, FedEx Express.

AAR (NYSE: AIR), a provider of aviation services to commercial and government operators, MROs and OEMs, signs an exclusive distribution agreement with Collins Aerospace’s Goodrich de-icing and specialty heating-systems business. Through this agreement, AAR will globally provide airlines, aircraft operators, and MROs with de-icers and supporting products.

The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) announces the offering of two scholarships for the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operators (IS-BAO) and International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) workshops. Submissions for applications are being accepted until March 25, 2022, at the Women in Corporate Aviation (WCA) website with a membership login.

StandardAero signs a volume purchase agreement with Gogo for delivery of AVANCE L3 and L5 systems in March, opening up more availability for operators seeking installations. The company now offers Gogo AVANCE L3 and L5 installation slots for Dassault Falcon, Bombardier, Hawker, Gulfstream, Embraer and Citation business-jet operators from the U.S. and Canada. Upgrades are managed at StandardAero’s Centers of Excellence in Houston, TX; Springfield, IL; and Augusta, GA.

In order to keep pace with customer demand, West Star Aviation announces plans for major facility expansion at its Grand Junction, CO (GJT), location. Plans include a new 40,000-square-foot hangar with an additional 35,000 square feet of shop and office space. The shop space will include a larger interior shop, a complete composite shop, and tool room.
