NATA (the National Air Transportation Association) welcomes the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announcement of eight selected projects under the newly launched Advanced Air Mobility and Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) Integration Pilot Program (eIPP). NATA recognizes this milestone as a reflection of meaningful progress toward the safe and efficient integration of next-generation aircraft into the National Airspace System (NAS), while opening the door to significant opportunities for growth, collaboration and engagement across the general-aviation community.

Honeywell (NYSE: HON) celebrates a major milestone across its fleet of aircraft engines with more than 225 million flight hours accumulated over the HTF7000 turbofan, the TFE731 turbofan and the TPE331 turboprop product lines. For more than 50 years, Honeywell has been developing reliable, efficient and cost-effective propulsion engines that continue to advance aviation.

Honeywell (NYSE: HON) expands its Primus Elite® cockpit offerings with new Federal Aviation Administration certifications for Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, Embraer and Fairchild-Dornier aircraft. The certifications provide business jet operators with a simple display upgrade option that delivers advanced functionality and improved visual clarity. In addition, Honeywell has regulatory approval for its Primus Elite Advanced Features software upgrade, enabling pilots to use the Synthetic Vision System to help them be more aware of their surroundings and increase safety.

StandardAero announces the expansion of its PT6A turboprop engine field services at its Houston Hobby Airport (KHOU) location to better serve operators in the Texas region and bordering states.  The expansion includes a variety of convenient offerings to include PT6A engine “on-wing” repairs, borescope inspections, hot section inspections, engine removal and installation.

Satcom Direct (SD), a business aviation connectivity provider, is introducing a suite of comprehensive cyber security services and products at NBAA-BACE 2017, Booth C11420. In response to the growing number of global cyber attacks on the aviation community, SD Cyber Smart Kit and SD Cyber Security Solutions combine the benefits of SD’s hardware routers, software services, ground infrastructure and technical expertise to protect business aviation data. In addition, SD is teaching aviation professionals how to avoid cyber security failures through the delivery of a series of in-depth training courses.

Innov8 Cabin Solutions’ CFLEX Technology product lines enable operators to efficiently and seamlessly upgrade their cabin as an entire system or to step their way to a full cabin management system replacement. The CFLEX Simplicity products have been in use on Falcon 900B, F900EX and Global Express aircraft. A recently completed project onboard a F2000EX and a GIVSP in work have expanded the number of aircraft enjoying the hands-free use and efficient charging of the Simplicity products.

Innov8 Cabin Solutions complements its cabin management upgrade products by offering Mobile Installation Team Support, or MInTS, services. Cabin upgrades typically include hardware installation, design, test and certification phases. The Innov8 MInTS Service flexibly supports aspects of the installation program though its unique MInTS service offerings.

The Simplicity VŪ products are the latest addition to Innov8's CFLEX Simplicity family, an affordable product line that enables operators to efficiently and seamlessly upgrade their cabin to high resolution, wireless displays at a fraction of the price of existing monitors. With CabinFLEX Technology from Innov8, operators can upgrade their entire cabin or step their way to a full CMS replacement with an architecture that ensures ease of future functionality upgrades.
