The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) announces its board confirmed appointments for the coming year during the 2025 International Standards for Business Aircraft Operators (IS-BAO) board meeting held last month. It also determined the current 21st edition of the IS-BAO standard will remain without any modifications.

Duncan Aviation announces it has received approval from Honeywell Aerospace to perform automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) upgrades on the Honeywell RMU-855 and the RCZ-850 and RCZ-833 series transponders on aircraft that are on-site at a Duncan Aviation facility.

The White House announced that Congressional Gold Medals will be awarded to the NASA mathematicians represented in the Hollywood film Hidden Figures, based on the book by Margot Lee Shetterly. Four African-American women who were employed as human computers were key players at NASA during the “space race” and early space flight.
