Gogo (NASDAQ: GOGO) announces that the Gogo Galileo HDX terminal has received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) supplemental type certification (STC) approvals for the Dassault Falcon 2000 aircraft family. Dassault Falcon Jet in Little Rock, AR, worked closely with Gogo to obtain the STC modification, which is now available for installation from Dassault Falcon Jet and its Authorized Service Center (ASC) network.

Gulfstream Appoints Murtaza Hassan General Manager of St. Louis Operations

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announces Murtaza Hassan has been named general manager of the Gulfstream St. Louis facility. He oversees service center operations, including safety, quality, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Hassan reports to Joseph Rivera, vice president, Service Center Operations.

Aviation Institute of Maintenance’s (AIM) Philadelphia campus will award veteran students, eligible for Post-9/11 (Chapter 33) benefits at the 100% coverage level, a grant that will cover any out-of-pocket tuition costs after their VA benefits and any Pell grants have been applied as long as they do not participate in the federal Title IV Loan programs. The grant is only offered at AIM’s Philadelphia campus.

The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) announces that Jason Tepool, business development executive for Boeing, has been named chairman of its Aircraft Maintenance and Systems Technology Committee. Tepool served on the committee for two years prior to his appointment.
