Clay Lacy is the first company to complete its facilities audit by 4AIR, the first and only rating sustainability program dedicated to private aviation.

Wichita Aero Club announces it will inaugurate a new board chairman, Ashley Bowen Cook — the first female to lead the aviation industry organization — when it hosts its 11th WAC Trophy Gala on Jan. 29, 2022. She succeeds John O’Leary, vice president and general manager of Airbus Americas Engineering, as chairman. Cutter Aviation announces the purchase of GTU Jet FBO at Georgetown Municipal Airport (GTU) in Texas. The acquisition of GTU Jet follows the purchase of AeroJet in Dec. 2021, increasing the company’s footprint in Georgetown Executive Airport to 152,000 square feet of hangar space for based clients and transient traffic and 34,588 square feet of FBO and office space, including conference rooms, pilot lounge with snooze room, flight-planning area, crew car and concierge service. 

Spirit Aeronautics, an avionics solutions provider for business, special missions, and military aircraft, announces it has teamed with Honeywell Aerospace to provide 6.1 software upgrades for the flight management systems in all Cessna Citation X aircraft. This is the first partnership that enables the 6.1 software upgrade performed outside of the aircraft's OEM service center network.
