I recently came across a quote on leadership that has been on mind for a few days:

A good leader takes a little more than his share of the blame, a little less than his share of the credit.

Arnold H. Glasow

Being a leader isn't about how great we can become. It's about how great we can make those around us!

Universal Avionics Sees Strong Year for InSight™ Integrated Flight Deck Upgrades
Universal Avionics Sees Strong Year for InSight™ Integrated Flight Deck Upgrades

Universal Avionics (UA) sees increased interest in its InSight Integrated Flight Deck Solution among business-jet operators. In 2021, the system was certified or set on a path to certification on five different aircraft platforms, for a total of nine different STC solutions to date, testament to the technology’s adaptability. Building on UA’s Citation VII STC, an F900B STC was recently awarded and included UA’s SBAS-FMS and UniLink data communication system. Other aircraft platforms that embarked on such an upgrade in 2021 include Falcon 900B with factory FMS, Falcon 50, Falcon 20, Hawker 800A/XP and Gulfstream G-III.

Duncan Aviation Aircraft Sales & Acquisitions Team Gives Perspective on Unprecedented Inventory Shortage of Preowned Aircraft
Duncan Aviation Aircraft Sales & Acquisitions Team Gives Perspective on Unprecedented Inventory Shortage of Preowned Aircraft

Duncan Aviation Aircraft Sales & Acquisitions consultant, Tim Barber, says that during the summer of 2020, the market for preowned aircraft was steady, if not slow. Yet over the past 12 months, things have changed dramatically.

Duncan Aviation is prepared to have Aviation Clean Air (ACA) portable ion-distribution units in use throughout the Duncan Aviation booth during the NBAA Convention, Oct. 12-14, in Las Vegas. These portable, electric-powered ionization units have been adapted for use in decontaminating the air and surfaces in aircraft interiors while on the ground, as well as other passenger areas, such as lounges, boarding areas and holding areas. The units will create increased air ions throughout Duncan Aviation’s booth during the show, potentially providing pathogen protection while allowing show attendees to see the units and learn about the benefits of patented bipolar ionization technology in its aircraft.

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announces that Dr. Sian Proctor, the mission pilot for the Inspiration4 all-civilian spaceflight launched on Sept. 16, 2021, will be a Day 2 keynote speaker at the 2021 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE). NBAA-BACE takes place Oct. 12-14 in Las Vegas, NV, where Proctor will join an inspiring roster of visionaries, heroes and leaders.
