Duncan Aviation FBOs Receive Stage 3 IS-BAH Accreditation

All of Duncan Aviation’s FBO locations in Lincoln, NE; Battle Creek, MI; Kalamazoo, MI; and Provo, UT, complete and pass the comprehensive safety audit required for Stage 3 of the International Safety for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) accreditation, joining the ranks of only three other FBOs in the United States and 16 worldwide — none of which performs large-scale maintenance, repair and overhaul services (MRO) to the extent of Duncan Aviation.

After extensive review, AviationManuals, a provider of manual development services and safety management system (SMS) software, is listed as an authorized vendor by the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA) to produce OTAR-compliant MELs. This recognition will benefit operators that utilize AviationManuals by reducing processing time by approximately 30%.

Addressing the confusion about the process of exporting aircraft and the requirements for making the necessary Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings, the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Tax Committee and Regulatory Issues Advisory Group join forces to create a new, members-only resource, “Guide on Exporting Aircraft from the United States.”
