True Blue Power, a manufacturer of lithium-ion aircraft batteries, and 101 Aviation, a Texas-based company specializing in supplemental type certificate (STC) development, announce the True Blue Power Gen5 TB50 (50 amp-hour) and TB20 (20 amp-hour) lithium-ion batteries will be available for Gulfstream and Bombardier aircraft beginning Q1 2026.

ODA Classification Streamlines STC Process for Aeronautix

The FAA grants Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) to Aeronautix. As a result, Aeronautix has authority previously reserved only for the FAA, most notably, the authority to issue STCs. This achievement was based on the company's experience in providing engineering services and procedures needed to certify STCs and PMA status for production lines. Since 2006, Aeronautix has certified over 300 STCs.

First Falcon 6X Arrives at Dassault’s Little Rock Completion Center

Dassault Aviation welcomes the first production Falcon 6X extra widebody twin to the Falcon completion center in Little Rock, AR. Falcon 6X serial number five was ferried on Friday, Jan. 28, from Dassault’s Merignac production facility, where all Falcons complete initial assembly, to the 1.25-million-square-foot Little Rock facility. The airplane landed at approximately 1:00 PM.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, signs a multi-year agreement with Legends Airways to provide power-by-the-hour services for its fleet of Saab 340 B+ cargo aircraft. Along with the PBH, Legends committed to a supply agreement that includes rotables, engine LRUs, and expendables.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, signs a five-year agreement with ExpressJet (operating as aha!) to provide full supply-chain support for its fleet of ERJ 145 aircraft. The contract includes parts procurement, managed repairs, inventory management, shipping and logistics, on-site staff support, and a sizeable consignment inventory.

C&L Aviation Services, a C&L Aviation Group company, receives STC certification by the FAA for its upgrade of the Universal UNS-1K (SCN600 or SCN800) series flight management system (FMS) to the UNS-1LW (SCN1000-Series) WAAS-enabled unit for the Embraer 135/145 aircraft. EASA and UK CAA approval is pending and expected to be completed by spring.
