Spirit Aeronautics announces the addition of Honeywell Aerospace Engine and APU Service Center authorization to its long-established Honeywell Avionics Service Center status, which the company has maintained for over 25 years. The expansion, timed with Spirit Aeronautics’ 25th anniversary, reflects the company’s continued investment in advanced maintenance capabilities and OEM-level technical support for business-aviation operators.

The FAA will be holding a Safety Stand Down December 3-4. On these dates, the FAA will host a series of online safety seminars targeted at aircraft maintenance technicians and other repair station personnel. Up to four hours of AMT & IA credit is available each day on maintenance subjects. The following subjects will be covered:

The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) announces the recipients of its Industry Excellence Awards, presented annually to individuals and organizations that demonstrate superior service to the aviation business community, particularly through their leadership skills and advancement of a safety-first culture. This year, the Association added two new honors acknowledging the contributions of FBO customer service representatives (CSRs) and rising aviation business leaders.
