C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, opens a new warehouse in Johannesburg, South Africa, which will be fully operational in July. The location is strategically located between the two major airports in Johannesburg and is a convenient shipping hub for customers in the African region. The new warehouse will support C&L’s established sales team in Africa and will initially house inventories for ERJ 135/145, and ATR 42/72, which will expand into other aircraft types as demand dictates.

New York City - FlightSafety International announces that the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has approved its Dassault Falcon 7X Theory Maintenance Initial Course. The course is available at FlightSafety’s Learning Centers in Dallas and at the France's Paris-Le Bourget airport.

I recently asked a customer who logs many hours flying in international skies what he thought was most important when landing on foreign soil. His reply was simply, “make sure your SAFA manual is up to speed.” After a little bit of research and a quick Google search, I found the following link that does a good job explaining the EU Safety Assessment of Foreign Aircraft (SAFA) programme.
