Pentastar Aviation Appoints Doug Levangie to Vice President of Maintenance Operations & Advisory Services

Pentastar Aviation announces the appointment of Doug Levangie to vice president of Maintenance Operations & Advisory Services, effective immediately. Levangie will report to executive vice president of Sales & Maintenance, Brad Bruce, and will be responsible for the strategic initiatives and overall success of Pentastar’s maintenance operations.

“Doug’s significant contributions to Pentastar Aviation throughout the last three decades and his expertise in aircraft maintenance have been invaluable,” says Pentastar Aviation president and CEO, Greg Schmidt. “His leadership in this new position will allow us to continue to deliver the quality and service experience that our customers have come to expect from Pentastar.”

Levangie, a professional certified aircraft appraiser, began his career at Pentastar Aviation over 30 years ago and has held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as director of Aviation Advisory Services and Maintenance & Avionics Sales manager. In his new role, Levangie will be responsible for overseeing repair station operations, including maintenance, avionics and interiors services. He will also manage the MRO sales team and oversee advisory services including pre-purchase inspections, aircraft management programs, valuation estimates and aircraft refurbishment planning.

Pentastar Aviation’s 130,000-square-foot facility features maintenance, avionics and interiors service capabilities, including a new design studio—all under one roof—allowing maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) services to be performed with minimal downtime. The facility is home to expert technicians committed to adhering to the strictest safety standards and industry best practices.
