Pro Star Aviation Delivers 120-Month Airframe Inspection

Pro Star Aviation, an aerospace modification center, announces that it delivered a 120-month airframe inspection on an Embraer Phenom 300, within budget and exceeding the customers’ expectations.

The 120-month inspection is a significant maintenance milestone for the light business jet, which includes the landing gear overhaul. This aircraft required the engines to undergo a "low utilization" inspection, including borescopes, compressor washes, and performance runs. With extensive Pratt & Whitney training and knowledge, Pro Star's AMTs accomplished the inspection in-house versus contracting a Pratt & Whitney mobile repair team, saving the customer thousands of dollars. In addition, the team modified the aircraft with Whelen Engineering Boom Beam HID taxi and landing lights and Concorde dual lead-acid batteries, utilizing STCs for both modifications.

"As an Authorized Embraer Service Center, our technicians are OEM factory-trained to the highest standards," says Sean Peterson, Pro Star Aviation, general manager. "We modify and service each aircraft as if it were our own. Our team is focused on delivering high-quality maintenance and installations to get you swiftly back in the air."
