Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Production Equipment Maintenance Technician (Level B) to support our Production Equipment Maintenance Emergent Operations Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 4th shift (Variable)!Position Responsibilities:

  • Repairs and maintains equipment and demonstrates experience in these areas
  • Responds to trouble calls and resolves a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
  • Follows safety procedures and regulations
  • Interprets basic schematics and diagrams
  • Utilizes a variety of hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair equipment
  • Works with electrical systems and electronic components of complex industrial machinery and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications
  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturers instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
  • Provides training for peers and customers on the general use of equipment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in equipment maintenance
  • 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics (preferably electrical, mechanical and pneumatic)
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing volt-ohm meters and micrometers
  • 1+ years of experience using MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)

 Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance
  • 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
  • 3+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters
  • 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
