What you will do:

  • Daily review of Journey and Tech Records prior to filing.
  • Inspect/monitor aircraft records for compliance with CARs and MCM requirements.
  • Carry Airworthiness Directive and Service Information reviews, assessments, and follow-ups.
  • Actively support production with inspection and documentation on quality control of associated documentation.
  • Assist with quality auditing, corrective action plans, and associated records.
  • Perform periodic and random quality checks/surveillance checks, and associated records, on company maintenance department activities and a variety of aircraft.
  • Follow-up to ensure correctable items are in process and tracked to completion within company policies, regulatory requirements, and acceptable timelines.
  • Monitor tracking systems for deficiencies and arrange resolutions for them.

What you bring:

  • Post-secondary 2-year college with an AME certificate.
  • Holder of a valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License.
  • Specific QA training such as instructional techniques, auditing, inspections, risk assessment, technical writing, aircraft-type courses, etc. will be considered an asset.
  • 5 yearsrsquo; experience performing or supervising maintenance activities in the aviation industry.
  • Organized and pragmatic individual with the ability to follow procedures and manuals.
  • Strong communication skills (interpersonal, listening, verbal and written).
  • Proficient in MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to leverage internal systems and databases to conduct work.
  • Knowledge of Q-Pulse and/or similar computer tracking systems will be considered an asset.
  • Capacity to learn quickly, with professional ethics and commitment to excellence at work.
  • Results focused, able to manage a large volume of administrative tasks involving highly detailed technical information.
