Quality Inspector
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Quality Inspectors with 5+ years of Commercial experience for an opportunity in Kansas City, MO.QC Inspector: The Inspector is directly responsible to the Chief Inspector and is responsible for the efficient and economical determination of airworthiness of aircraft maintenance and other work assigned for inspection.The Inspector is responsible for:(1) Ascertaining that work for which he/she is responsible has been accomplished in a high standard of workmanship and in accordance with AAT, FAA, and manufacturer’s standards(2) Ensure that all necessary parts tags for which he/she is responsible are correctly executed for units or parts changed(3) Performing receiving inspection requirements for new and continued service parts for serviceability, including but not limited to, verifying certification from manufacture or overhaul facility and inspecting for shipping damage(4) Perform inspections of articles, products, facilities, vendors, equipment as directed by the Chief Inspector(5) Conduct incoming and stockroom inspections for proper tagging, bagging, storage, shelf life and good housekeeping(6) Performing technical research as required to determine status/compliance of aircraft or components/systems(7) Reading, writing, speaking and understanding the English language(8) Ensuring completion of logbook entries as/when required(9) Ensuring compliance with all applicable CFRs during the course of assignments(10) Performing inspections only on products for which they have been properly trained and qualified(11) Conducting OJT (On-the-Job Training)(12) Reviewing, auditing, copying, and controlling AAT aircraft records as directed by the Chief Inspector(13) Being authorized to act on behalf of the repair station(14) Other duties as assigned by the Chief Inspector.
