QUALITY INSPECTOR (CMM Operator - Verisurf)POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for performing routine inspections, first part buyoffs, final inspections, and FAI’s to ensure that product meets companystandards, customer specifications, and any applicable regulatory standards.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Perform quality inspections on material, in process parts and final machined product.
  • Perform/Complete First Part Buyoffs
  • Verify part conformity using Verisurf software.
  • Maintain and generate all required quality documentation including inspection and discrepancy reports.
  • Communicate effectively with machinists, operators, and management to maintain acceptable quality.
  • Perform other duties to support daily production activities.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous aerospace inspection experience
  • Previous experience using measuring equipment including micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators, etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Portable CMM experience required (Prefer Verisurf software experience)
  • Ability to read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions.
  • Experience with Global Shop software preferred but not required.
  • Ability to professionally communicate and work well with others.
  • Proficient computer skills, required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
