S.A.F.E. Provides General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon Maintenance Stands to Holloman AFB

S.A.F.E. Structure Designs announces an order by U.S. Air Force Holloman Air Force Base for custom maintenance-stand sets for the F-16 aircraft. The stands provide a large work platform for added safety and will be used for both overhaul and routine maintenance.

The SAFETY FIRST ergonomic stands allow technicians safe access to all areas of the aircraft at the same time. The modular set of stands provides custom access to all panels and equipment without having to move the stands. Equipped with the latest features, including an anti-fatigue mat and tool trays to increase comfort and efficiency, the stands are lightweight and easy to move around.

“The USAF needed maintenance stands that could access all areas of the aircraft and all panels without blocking access to any part,” says Johnny Buscema, S.A.F.E. CEO.  “This lean, mean design is the only design to meet those standards. We are proud to provide custom support to the F-16 team at Holloman AFB.”

S.A.F.E. Structure is expected to deliver the custom stands in mid-March 2021.
