Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic - AviationJob DescriptionWe are seeking skilled Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our team in a dynamic aviation repair station environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints and schematics, performing C D Check maintenance, and fabricating/modifying structural parts and components. This role involves working in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility, focusing on the fabrication, installation, and overhaul of CRJs.Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Perform C D Check maintenance in a repair station environment.
  • Fabricate and modify structural parts and components.
  • Install, overhaul, and repair CRJs.
  • Work in a fast-paced MRO environment under tight timeframes.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft sheet metal/structures.
  • Experience with modification, repair, and overhaul.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication.
  • Must have own tools.

Additional Skills Qualifications

  • Airframe/A P License preferred but not required.
  • Candidates with 2 years of modification experience plus an A license, or 8+ years of SMM experience without a license are suitable.

Work orders with assigned completion times are provided daily. The facility operates 24/7 with a Southern Swing Shift schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off one week, and 3 days on, 4 days off the next. Shifts are 12 hours long, with options for front or back end shifts.
