Solodev Debuts PartsBase API Integration

Solodev, a leading cloud-first enterprise website content management system (CMS) built for Amazon Web Services (AWS), announces its new PartsBase API Integration. Websites built on or migrated to Solodev now feature a built-in foundation for customizing the PartsBase API, reducing the time and cost to implement the solution, connect their inventory, and streamline the buying experience.

PartsBase, a leading e-commerce marketplace for the aviation and aerospace industries, developed its API in an effort to reduce some of the inefficiencies of procuring parts for buyers and sellers. When integrated with a manufacturer’s website on Solodev, the PartsBase API automates inventory data management by connecting the PartsBase Web Services Platform in real-time with the manufacturer’s ERP or CRM system. Suppliers are able to add, remove, or change inventory in one place and have the updates reflected in PartsBase and on their website – saving time, enhancing accuracy, and improving the customer experience.

As regulatory and compliance requirements continue to impact the public and private sector, government contractors who work with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Department of Defense (DoD) must be prepared for digital governance around data privacy and ADA accessibility. With Solodev and AWS, manufacturers can help achieve enhanced compliance with modernized website code and integrate with additional tools to continuously maintain their posture.

“To remain competitive in today’s rapidly expanding global market, aviation and aerospace manufacturers need to offer a more seamless experience for customers,” says Shawn Moore, chief technology officer at Solodev. “With this Solodev and the PartsBase API integration, suppliers can accelerate the purchasing pipeline by connecting their customers, inventory and website.”

Solodev users can create dynamic customer experiences while seamlessly connecting to third-party applications, including marketing automation technologies. The CMS platform enables marketing professionals to easily manage content while giving developers total control over code to build advanced features. Solodev provides access to training and documentation, as well as 24x7x365 U.S.-based support.

“A company’s digital presence requires maintenance and modernization to fuel growth. To reach new heights, websites must be a hub for connections that enable them to integrate with current and future technologies,” says Moore.

Solodev was recently recognized by AWS for its expertise in digital customer experience, and is one of only 38 companies worldwide to earn the prestigious AWS Digital Customer Experience Competency Status. This designation differentiates Solodev as a provider of technologies and services for all phases of digital acquisition and retention life cycle.
