Superior Air Parts Announces 2022 AirVenture Oshkosh Forum Series Schedule

Superior Air Parts, Inc., announces the schedule for its popular AirVenture Oshkosh educational forum series. The series of free 45-minute sessions will be held Monday through Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at the Superior Air Parts tent (#257/#258), just north of Hangar B.

“Superior Air Parts’ forum series has become an important part of Oshkosh AirVenture for so many of our customers,” says Scott Hayes, VP of Sales and Marketing. “Now that things are getting back to normal, we are very excited to again invite everyone to our booth daily at 10:00 A.M. to join us for a series of presentations that are not only highly informative but a lot of fun.”

Superior Air Parts 2022 Oshkosh Forum Series schedule is as follows:

  • Mon., July 25, 10 A.M. — Aircraft Engine Compression Testing and Maximizing Cylinder Life
  • Tues., July 26, 10 A.M. — Engine Leaning Made Simple
  • Wed., July 27, 10 A.M. — Choosing the Right Aircraft Mechanic
  • Thurs., July 28, 10 A.M. — Using Your Oil Change as a Diagnostic Tool
  • Fri., July 29, 10 A.M. — Evaluating Your Options at TBO Time
  • Sat., July 30, 10 A.M. — The Real Cost of Deferring Maintenance

“Whether we’re talking to aircraft owners or A&Ps, sharing this kind of valuable information is exactly why we created the forum series,” Hayes says. “Each session will give attendees several proven procedures and insights that will help them reduce the cost of flying while extending their engine’s operational life and lowering maintenance costs.”

All of the Superior forums are presented by Bill Ross, A&P/IA, noted piston-engine specialist and VP of Product Support, Superior Air Parts, Inc.

“These forums fill up fast, so I suggest you get there early,” Hayes adds.

Hayes also announces that Superior is again hosting its popular Tech Tuesday at AirVenture Oshkosh 2022. Tech Tuesday is a special 90-minute forum created for FAA-licensed A&P technicians to refresh their piston-engine maintenance and operations knowledge. Tech Tuesday 2022 is from 8:00-9:30 A.M. on Tues., July 26. This year’s topic is "The Real Cost of Deferring Maintenance." Attendance earns FAA A&P/IA renewal credits.

“As an A&P/IA, I am very excited about having the opportunity to talk to my fellow technicians and A&P students,” Ross says. “Their knowledge and skills play a key role in ensuring that aircraft owners get the most value, performance and safety out of their piston engines.”
